Special Events and Festivals
Pismo Beach features many special events throughout the year including, a Custom Car Show, 4th of July Fireworks, Western Days, Clam Festival and the Marching Band Review. Additionally, the city is home to two Dixieland jazz festivals. Pismo Beach is also the home of the migrating Monarch Butterflies who come each year from the end of October through February.
Don't miss the Coastal Discovery Center in San Simeon, touring the renovated Visitor's Center in Hearst's Castle, seeing the new Piedras Blancas Lighthouse or the amazing wonder of the Monarch Butterfly Grove.
